The Crescent Commons
This is a large open area where traders, merchants, and peddlers congregate. It spans the city from one end to the other. It is overly crowded and its many tent shops, wagons, and makeshift stable yards are arranged in a haphazard fashion. the entire grounds are tracked up in mud and you are clipped from shoulder to shoulder as others squeeze by. There are two main gates into and out of the crescent commons with innumerable access points along each side of it to various neighboring parts of the city. It encompasses a large portion of the city’s grounds, and is arranged in a somewhat semi-circular fashion with a barely perceivable main pathway which snakes its way from gate to gate. It has the look, sound, feel, and smell of a week old fairground.
